William James Wareham, age 72, of West End, NC died Monday, March 16, 2020. Formerly of Levittown and Ridge. Recently of Florida and North Carolina. Mr. Wareham was born November 22, 1947. He is the son of the late Frederick and the late Marie (Matthews) Wareham.

He was employed by Nassau County Police Department as a Police Officer for 30 years.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years Susan B. (Barton) Wareham and one daughter Stacey Staufer and her husband John. His sister Dorothy Narad. He also has two grandchildren grandson, John W. Staufer and granddaughter, Brianna Wareham.

William is predeceased by his son, Michael Wareham. William is also predeceased by his brother Frederick and his sister Patricia.

Visiting hours will be Friday, March 20 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM at McManus-Lorey Funeral Home 2084 Horseblock Rd. Medford, NY 11763.

The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, March 21 at the McManus-Lorey Funeral Home 2084 Horseblock Rd. Medford, NY. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Coram on Saturday, March 21 at 11:00 am.
