He was born in St. Albans, NY on January 30, 1947 to the adoring parents, Donald VanRiper, Sr. and Elsie VanRiper (nee Baldwin). Beloved Husband of Angelina L. VanRiper (nee Scopo). Loving Father of Thomas (Tara) VanRiper, Jr. and Theresa VanRiper. Dear Brother of Donald VanRiper, Jr., Milford VanRiper, the Late Richard VanRiper and the Late Janice Carlisi. Cherished Grandfather of Amanda and Carl Demasi, Matthew VanRiper, Jenna Simon and the Late Sarit Simon. Loving Great Grandfather of Anthony, Jake, Dominick, Aaliyah, Kylie, Kayleigh and Olivia. There will be a Visitation for Thomas N. VanRiper, Sr. on Monday, July 8, 2024, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM at McManus-Lorey Funeral Home, 2084 Horseblock Road, Medford, NY 11763. A Funeral Service will be held at McManus-Lorey Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 9:00 AM. An interment will follow at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY with the Army Honor Guard performing Military Honors for Thomas.
