It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Roseann Hannafey, age 80, of Medford, New York, who left this world peacefully on August 2, 2026. Born on April 5, 1946, in Brooklyn, NY, Roseann touched many lives with her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering spirit.

Roseann is survived by her loving daughters, Catherine Hamer and Renee Lopez, and her devoted son, Thomas Hannafey. She was proud to be a grandmother to Jared, Alexis, Austin, Anthony, Julia, Jason, and John, as well as a great-grandmother to Nolan. Her family was her greatest joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

A visitation will be held at the McManus-Lorey Funeral Home in Medford on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. During this time, a prayer service will take place at 7:00 PM, led by Rev. Gary Stevens, to honor Roseann's life and legacy.

The funeral service will be held at the McManus-Lorey Funeral Home, 2084 Horseblock Road, Medford, NY, on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Following the service, Roseann will be laid to rest at Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, NY, with her late husband Francis.
