Mr. Rosario (Sal) Palmeri, age 93 , of Farmingville, NY died Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at home in Farmingville, NY. Sal was a veteran of the US Army and Sal was a 4th Degree member of Resurrection of Our Lord Council in Farmingville.

He was the son of the late Ignazio and Maria Francesca Palmeri.

He was the husband of Lee Palmeri.

He was survived by his loving children, Maria Hansen, Patricia Farello and her husband Frank and Ignatius Palmeri. His cherished grandchildren - Frankie (Mary), Evamarie, Sean, James, Saramarie and his adored great grandchildren Ryan, Emma, Sara.

Arrangements are being handled by McManus-Lorey Funeral Home, 2084 Horse Block Road, Medford, NY. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2:00 - 7:00 PM on Sunday, March 22, 2015. Wake prayers and rosary Sunday 5:00 PM officiated by Deacon Vincent Barreca. Funeral mass will be at the Church of the Resurrection at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 23, 2015. Burial will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery with military honors on Monday, March 23, 2015.
