Robert Joseph Prestopino, age 88, of Islip Terrace, died Tuesday, March 25, 2025.  Robert was born on March 20, 1937 in Forest Hills, NY. Robert was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean War.

Visiting hours will be Sunday, March 30, 2025 from 2:00 - 8:00 PM at the McManus-Lorey Funeral Home, 2084 Horse Block Road, Medford, NY. A Religious Service officiated by Father Thomas Tassone will take place during the Visitation at 3:00 PM.

A funeral service will be held at 9:15 am on March 31, 2025 at McManus-Lorey Funeral Home, 2084 Horse Block Road, Medford, NY, prior to going to church.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Monday, March 31 at Church Of The Resurrection, 50 Granny Road, Farmingville, NY with Rev. Gonzalo Oajaca-Lopez officiating.

Burial with honors will follow in Calverton National Cemetery on Monday, March 31, 2025.

Robert requested no flowers for his services.  In Robert's memory, his family asks that you consider a donation to the American Lung Association .
