Mr. Richard J. Valente (Dick), age 83 , of Mint Hill, NC died Thursday,November 8, 2012 at Lake Park Nursing and Rehab in North Carolina. Mr. Valente was a veteran of the US Army.

He was the son of the late Philip and Anne Valente.

He was pre-deceased by his wife Rose Valente

He was survived by:

Mrs. Renee Couchell and her husband John

Mrs. Jeannine Klos and her husband Dave

Mrs. Jodi Stokes and her husband Jeremy

Two Sons:

Mr. Ricky Valente and his wife Rosemary

Mr. Stephen Valente and his wife Sandi

Grandchildren:

Stephen, Rosa, Dylan, Kevin, Cole, Michael, Nicole, Justin, Billy, Andrew, Ginamarie, Victoria, Kyle, Mondriana, Gianna and Kevin.

Arrangements are being handled by McManus-Lorey Funeral Home, 2084 Horse Block Road, Medford, NY Funeral service will be at St. Sylvester R.C. Church at 9:15 AM on Saturday, November 17, 2012.

Visitation at 2:00 - 4:00 PM and 7:00 - 9:00 PM Friday, November 16, 2012. Burial will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Coram, NY on Saturday, November 17, 2012.
