Mrs. Mary J. Masem, age 81, a longtime resident of Medford, NY died Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital in East Patchogue New York. Mrs. Masem was employed by Roe Insurance Agency. Mrs. Masem was the Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Medford Fire Department.

She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Jennie Furey.

She was the wife of the late John Masem.

Arrangements are being handled by McManus-Lorey Funeral Home, 2084 Horse Block Road, Medford, NY. Visitation at the Funeral Home on Friday, April 19, 2013 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM and 7:00 - 9:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be at St. Sylvester R.C. Church at 10:15 AM on Saturday, April 20, 2013. Burial will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Coram, NY on Saturday, April 20, 2013.
