Mr. John Mones, Jr., age 78 , of Farmingville, NY died Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Mr. Mones, Jr. was the proprietor of John Mones. Jr. Painting. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was the husband of the late Janice Mones and the father of the late Randy Mones.

John was survived by his children Karla, John, III and Erik and his wife Kimberly. His granddaughters Joanna and Alison. His brother Daniel and his sisters Margaret, Ruth, Grace and Patricia.

Arrangements are being handled by McManus-Lorey Funeral Home, 2084 Horse Block Road, Medford, NY. Visitation will be from 2:00 - 4:00 PM and 7:00 - 9:00 PM Sunday, September 28, 2014 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be from the funeral home on Monday, September 29, 2014 at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass will be at Church of the Resurrection at 10:00 AM on Monday, September 29, 2014. Burial with honors will be at Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, NY on Monday, September 29, 2014.
