John M. Gerstmann, age 67 , of Selden, NY died Tuesday, November 10, 2015 in Stony Brook New York. Mr. Gerstmann was a former employee with the Department of Sanitation in the Town of Hempstead.

He was the son of the late William and Dolores Gerstmann.

He was the beloved husband of Marianne Gerstmann nee Beyer and the loving father of Josh Gerstmann John is also survived by his dear sister-in-law Janice Beyer and his dear brother-in-law Michael Beyer and his wife Gail. And his cherished nephews Sean and Peter.

Arrangements are entrusted to McManus-Lorey Funeral Home, 2084 Horse Block Road, Medford, NY. Visitation will be on Friday, November 13, 2015 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM and 7:00 - 9:00 PM. Funeral service will be from the funeral home at 10:30 AM on Saturday, November 14, 2015. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Coram, NY on Saturday, November 14, 2015.
