George Reeves, 80, of Medford, passed away on February 21, 2015 at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital. George was born in Staten Island, NY on October 4, 1934 to Marianne and George Reeves. George was a true friend to all, who in his earlier years, devoted his time to children with down syndrome. In later years he worked along with his wife Dianne, in their efforts to provide food and clothing for the less fortunate. He was a good and compassionate man who loved his family with all of his heart. George is survived by his wife Dianne, his sisters Marion and Ginger, his children Robbin, Donna (William), Timothy (Linda), Kerri (James) and his 13 grandchildren, Courtney, Ryan, Brittney, Brett, Rochelle, Katherine, Logan, Jason, Dana, Jordan, Brandon, Christopher and Cameron. George's last request was for his body to be donated to Cornell Medical Center for medical research. There will be a memorial service held on Thursday February 26, 2015 from 7-9 pm at McManus -Lovey Funeral Home located at 2084 Horse Block Rd, Medford, NY 11763.
