Frederick Ralph Rokes, age 74, of Selden died Saturday, March 23, 2019 at home.  Mr. Rokes was born November 28, 1944 in Copiague, NY. He is the son of the late Loren Wendell and the late Edna Bertha (Beck) Rokes.

He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War

He is survived by his beloved wife: Emily Mary (George) Rokes , one loving daughter: Christine Laliwala and her husband Nick. Two loving sons: Frederick Rokes, Jr. and his wife Kristin and Mark Rokes,;  Dear Brother of: Robert Rokes; Cherished Grandfather of Mark, Steven, Sean, NJ, Emma, Jake and Aaron.  Adored Great Grandfather of Graysen, Brylan, and Heavelynn.

Visiting hours will be Tuesday, March 26 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM & 7:00 - 9:00 PM at McManus-Lorey Funeral Home, 2084 Horse Block Road, Medford, NY.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, March 27 at 10:00 AM at Church Of The Resurrection, 50 Granny Road, Farmingville, NY.  A private cremation will follow. Inurnment with honors will take place on Friday, April 19, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Calverton National Cemetery.
