Freddie H. Rick,  of Vernon, CT,  passed away suddenly on July 19, 2022 from post-operative complications.

Freddie was born in Brooklyn, NY to Elias and Mollie Rick on March 31, 1960. He was the beloved sibling to Judi; predeceased by his brothers Neil and Larry. Cherished Uncle to Jaqui, "Little Lou", Baby, as well as Geoffrey, Michael, Douglas, Daniel, Kenny and Lauren. He was a Great Uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Known for his quick wit and dry humor, Freddie was an encyclopedia of information. He was in the right career for that skillset, as he worked in the Acquisitions and Discovery Department within the University of Connecticut's Library System. Freddie also enjoyed traveling with his square dancing group, his NY Times crossword puzzles, and holds the honorable distinction of never losing a game of Jeopardy or Scrabble in his life.
