Obituary

Christine Robins, age 60, of Massapequa, NY died Monday, August 22, 2022.

Christine was survived by her beloved parents Richard and Lorraine Robins. Also survived by her loving brothers and sisters; Richard Robins Jr., Roxane Hanfield, Naeem Robins, Jonathan Robins, and Christopher Robins. Cherished Aunt of 17 Nieces and Nephews. Christine dealt with many struggles throughout her life due to her disabilities. Despite having to endure seizures at the age of 2 years old, Christine learned to turn herself over at 2 years old. Christine enjoyed time with her family such as running and swinging at the park with Richard Jr. and Roxane. She loved even just being at home with her family together. Going to camp every summer and even vacations with her family every summer. Christine liked going to get her nails done as well. When Christine was old enough she moved to a group home where she could live independently while still getting the care and supervision she needed at that time. She was involved in programs for people who were developmentally disabled similar to her.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to our relatives, friends, and well wishers for their support and love during the loss of our oldest daughter, Christine Robins.

»(Do not delete this line. It does not print.  Text that is to appear on web must be entered before this line) If only love could have saved you, you never would have died. If all was ours to give, we would give it yes, and more to see you coming up the stairs and walking through the door to sit, hold your hand and talk to you awhile. To be with you the same old way would be our happiest day. A heart of gold stopped beating, two smiling eyes closed to rest, and open again in joy eternal. Now all of Heaven is blessed.
