Bruce Gregory Haynes (October 28, 1951 – December 7, 2016); devoted husband of Jo Ann Mary Haynes and loving father of Katherine Marie Haynes, Blanca Arroyo, and Gregory Benneditto Haynes died in Brookhaven Memorial Hospital after collapsing in the house he lived in for over 36 years.

Bruce Haynes was an insurance adjuster by profession. He enjoyed playing with cash registers and dreamed of owning a grocery store as a child. He founded the successful vending machine company Yum Yum Vending, which he sold several years after its founding.

Bruce Haynes favorite hobby was watching television with his family and he was proud to have dedicated his life towards working hard so that his children could have the things he never had.

The viewing for Bruce Haynes is scheduled for Sunday, December 11, 2016, at the McManus-Lorey Funeral Home located on 2084 Horse Block Road in Medford, New York between the hours of 2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M.

The funeral service for Bruce Haynes will be held on Monday, December 12, 2016, at the McManus-Lorey Funeral Home at 10:30 A.M. followed by an 11:45 A.M. burial at the Yaphank Cemetery also known as Union Cemetery in Yaphank, NY.

Bruce Haynes was an animal lover and it is requested that donations be made to the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind, 371 East Jericho Turnpike, Smithtown, NY 11787-2976 in lieu of flowers.
