Antoinette (Anne) Castelli-Gambino

Born in Brooklyn, NY on May 27, 1943

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on December 6, 2022

Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Lillian Castelli and her sister, Claudia Bagielto


She is survived by her devoted husband, Carl Gambino, sons Brendhan and Sean Gambino, daughter Erin Gambino-Russo along with their spouses, Maggie Gambino, Lauren Douglass and Robert Russo.

Anne was a cherished "Nanny" blessed with grandchildren KaitlynAnne, Alicia, Braeden, Thomas and Augustus.

Anne leaves behind her little sister, Linda Vitiello and brother-in-law Bill Vitiello along with her Nieces, Dianne DaSilva, Deborah Bagielto, Claudine Santos, Cristina Sheldon and Elizabeth Vitiello as well as her Nephews, Daniel Bagielto, Christopher Bagielto and William Vitiello


She was kind, loving and generous.

She loved her family with all of her heart.

She was loved by all who knew her.


Our mom will live in our hearts forever.




Memorial Visitation hours will be Tuesday, December 13 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM & 7:00 - 9:00 PM at the McManus-Lorey Funeral Home, 2084 Horse Block Road, Medford, NY



A funeral mass will be held at 9:45 am on Wednesday, December 14 at St. Kilian Church, 485 Conklin Street, Farmingdale, NY.  Inurnment will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park, Pinelawn, NY.»(Do not delete this line. It does not print.  Text that is to appear on web must be entered before this line)
